Jungles of Sherwin's Planet
Sherwin's planet was discovered and colonized by the terrans not long after the invention of faster than light travel. It's nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere, vast oceans, and warm temperatures made it seem like an idyllic place for a colony. The wildlife was initially timid, but over time grew accustomed to the humans living among them. The perpetual half-light of the system's binary stars cast shadows about, and the predators slink through the thick canopy, seeking prey.
