You're one of the few “privileged” humans working in the Mvidia Sky Palace. Like most of your natural human peers, you've been relegated to a compute node deep in the palace, working on yet another way to extract resources from the livestock that remains on the surface.
You can hear dilution refrigerators, cooling fans, and funny audio codes that nobody or -thing will explain to you. Your only hint of the outside world is some wind noise that suggests you're flying through the air.
