William and Sherlock, Peace Together

"Would you like me to play the piano? I'm afraid I don't have my violin on the TARDIS, dear Liam." Sherlock asks you softly, smiling your favourite smile.
"Of course, Sherlock, I think that would be wonderful. I might read a book if that is alright with you?" You respond to him, gently placing a hand on his cheek.
Sherlock smiles wider, cupping your hand in his and kissing it softly. "Certainly, my love" He replies. "Anything you wish, your heart's greatest desire is my command."
You blush, and turn to the books, selecting one at random and sitting down to read it next to a roaring fireplace. There is a waterfall nearby, you can hear it roar, and the sound settles your nerves, soothes your heart, and helps to make you feel at home. There are flowers nearby, too, all around you, and you can smell their extraordinary odour, a lovely perfume that can't help but make you smile.
Sherlock drifts over to a piano as you do these things, stroking the keys softly before he starts playing a sad, but woefully beautiful tune. It makes your heart ache for the beauty of it, but somehow not in a bad way. It aches, but you like the ache, and as it does, the waterfall soothes any pain and brings you peace.
It's not so bad here, in the TARDIS, you think to yourself, smiling a soft, hidden smile. It's rather pretty here, especially with Sherlock, and you adore this tucked away nook, a place for just you and Sherlock, a safe place, a wonderful place. A place you could perhaps call home.
