Spaceport colony
The spaceport you're living on is a hub for spaceships and people all over the star systems. Big spenders, transporters, or people looking for a new life all end up on these galaxy-wide ports hoping to move on to another colony or planet. Eventually the time will come where you can get a ticket to a new life off-world but for now the days are just the same in this crowded port out in space. The streets are full of workers, tourists, or homeless. The bright advertisements and vibrant lights try their best to make up for a lack of nature. The port also tries to both attract newcomers with a wide variety of businesses and easy access to nearby systems with constant low-flying shuttles. Each shuttle that exits brings you hope that maybe one will carry you some day. You just hope the colonies are as good as everyone says.
