The Sounds Above
Standing on the sidewalk outside the bodega. A few blocks down, that man is preaching to anyone who will pay any attention. Someone's trying to get the security droid to file a complaint, but everyone knows the security droids don't work. The next train is coming in, hovering in the air by the station, almost fifty feet above the street, a remembrance when they used to be underground. Nothing is underground anymore, except the people who can't pay to live in the Above.
